METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TERMINAL ACCESSING

A method and system for terminal accessing. The method includes: AN(Access Net) side pages the terminal; according to some prearranged rules, the terminal equipment chooses the different orthogonal code message with the orthogonal codes message which the AN currently uses; the terminal equipment chooses the orthogonal code according to said message, and modulates the access probe according to the orthogonal code; the terminal equipment sends the access probe to AN, and accesses the AN. In the implementing example in the invention, using the method and the system, the terminal which responds to the AN paging chooses a unique orthogonal code to access the AN, so as to avoid collision between multiple accessing terminal or between the terminal which responds to the AN paging and the terminal which initiates a call, and therefore to availably reduce the access latency which the terminal responds to the AN paging.
