<p>A method for controlling an air conditioner indoor unit with a door control unit is provided to open and close a front door of the indoor unit by using attraction and repulsion magnetic force. An indoor unit of an air conditioner comprises a body unit, a front door, a door control unit, and a driving circuit. The front door selectively opens and closes the front side of the body unit. The door control unit selectively opens and closes the front door. The driving circuit is for the control of the door control unit. The door control unit comprises an electromagnet(160) being magnetized by electric current, an opening and closing switch(124) for selective opening and closing of the front door, a power supply unit for supplying power to the electromagnet, and a magnetic substance disposed on the opposite side of the electromagnet. The opening and closing of the front door depends on attraction and repulsion force between the electromagnet and the magnetic substance, which is controlled by the opening and closing switch.</p> |
