APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING/RECEIVING DATA IN A COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A data transceiving device in a communication system and a method are provided to transceive data by considering channel characteristics between a transmitter and a receiver in the system, thereby adaptively transceiving the data according to channel changes between the transmitter and the receiver and transceiving the data through effective encoding method. A transmitter obtains channel information of each receiver existing within a cell(711). The transmitter divides receivers into at least two groups by using the channel information(713). The transmitter encodes data of the receivers corresponding to the determined groups(715). The transmitter generates transmission frames by using the encoded data, and transmits the generated frames(717,719). The channel information is one of an SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) and a CINR(Carrier to Interference and Noise Ratio).
