A method and a system for security in a DRM system are provided to enable a rights issuer to have more advanced security for an access of a content issuer, thereby enabling reliable cooperation between the rights issuer and an external content issuer. A security system(10) in a DRM(Digital Rights Management) system includes a content issuer(11) and an rights issuer(13). The content issuer packages contents requested from the user terminal, generates an encoded message to request the information to be registered and ROAP trigger of corresponding contents, and performs the transmission of the encoded message into the rights issuer. The rights issuer receives a message of requesting the information registration and ROAP trigger from the contents issuing machine, decodes the message, and performs security authentication for the message.
