A band-gap reference voltage generator is provided to control a desired reference voltage through a resistance value by making the sum of a PTAT current and a CTAT current as the reference voltage through a resistor. A first reference current generation circuit(20) includes a fundamental voltage generator(21), a thermal voltage generator(22) and a driver(MP1). The fundamental voltage generator generates a base-emitter fundamental voltage with a negative temperature coefficient. The thermal voltage generator generates a thermal voltage with a positive temperature coefficient. The driver generates a first reference voltage in response to a first voltage signal generated by comparing and amplifying the fundamental voltage and the thermal voltage. A second reference current generation circuit(30) includes a driver(MP3) generating a second reference current in response to a second voltage signal generated by comparing and amplifying a divided voltage of a power supply voltage and the fundamental voltage. A reference voltage generation circuit(40) includes a driver generating a third reference current and a fourth reference current by forming a current mirror with the driver of the first and the second reference current generation circuit, and includes a current-voltage transformer(41) converting the sum of the third and the fourth reference current into a reference voltage.
