<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus from which ozone does not leak forward of the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has an apparatus unit functionally accompanied by ozone generation, a fixing unit for fixation of a formed image, a first air blowing means generating an air current in the apparatus unit, a second air blowing means sending air to the inside of the fixing unit, an opening/closing cover for opening the apparatus unit, the fixing unit, the second air blowing means to the front of the apparatus and the casing equipped with the opening/closing cover. In the image forming apparatus, the second air blowing means is provided within the casing of the apparatus front side, and the air current generated by the first air blowing means is sucked into the second air blowing means, and flows toward the back side of the apparatus, while the air current receives the heat generated in the fixing unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
