<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bentonite-containing diet food. <P>SOLUTION: This bentonite diet food can produce sense of fullness through intake in the body of bentonite, mainly sodium type montmorillonite, as a mixture with medical powder, an aqueous solution and other food. The montmorillonite (main ingredient of the bentonite) adsorbs water and swells, and produces sense of fullness by expansion of a stomach wall. The bentonite is an inorganic substance and is not digested, and promotes peristalsis of the intestines and improves defecation.
