<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct backlight type liquid crystal display device which comprises a backlight source, a thermoplastic resin-made light diffusing plate which hardly warps toward the side of a liquid crystal surface even under a heated condition, a light control film and the liquid crystal panel and has not uneven luminance. <P>SOLUTION: The direct backlight type liquid crystal display device comprises the backlight source, the thermoplastic resin-made light diffusing plate, the light control film and the liquid crystal panel. A warping rate X<SB>1</SB>(%) of the light diffusing plate when heated at 150°C for 10 minutes satisfies 0.5≤X<SB>1</SB>≤10 (on condition that the warping rate toward such a direction that the light diffusing plate projects toward the side of the backlight source is regarded as a positive). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
