PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of easily selecting a desired image by a user from among images which are imaged continuously. SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus comprises an image classifying unit for classifying a plurality of images to a plurality of image groups at each image similar in imaging state from information indicating imaging states added to the plurality of images, a partial region extracting unit for extracting a partial region in which variations are large compared with a plurality of images included in image groups which are classified by the image classifying unit, a partial image information generating unit for generating a plurality of pieces of partial image information indicating partial images which are images in a partial region extracted by the partial region extracting unit within each of the plurality of images included in the image groups classified by the image classifying unit, and an image outputting unit for outputting a plurality of pieces of partial image information generated by the partial image information generating unit after correlating to at least one image included in the image groups classified by the image classifying unit.
