PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, method, and program for extracting drawing-data that can reliably reduce a load on a control system. SOLUTION: The drawing-data extraction device is provided with an intermediate buffer 13B which defines a graphic plane, and a graphic processing unit 16 that extracts contents of the intermediate buffer 13B so as to use them for transfer. The graphic processing unit 16 is composed so that various drawing objects arranged in the graphic plane are stored in the intermediate buffer 13B as the drawing data so as to extract the drawing data from the intermediate buffer 13B for each rectangular region after dividing a drawing region in the graphic plane occupied by the drawing data into a plurality of the rectangular regions that are not overlapped with each other.
