PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server device capable of rapidly displaying each page for displaying a list extending over a plurality of pages in an external device. SOLUTION: The server device is equipped with a list production means for producing a list in response to a list sending request from the external device via a communication line, a data sending means for sending data for a page in the list to the external device in response to reception of the data sending request, and a look-ahead control means which sets at least one page among pages other than the page in the list displayed on the external device as a look-ahead object when the page number of the list indicates a plurality of display number and makes the external device to foresee data on a page set as a look-ahead object via the communication line, irrespective of whether or not the external device has selected the page set as the look-ahead object.
