PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve the problem that conventional methods cost high because of using a cutting processed matter or a press molding of a complex shape as a cap member when an aspheric lens is formed instead of a spherical lens with large aberration in a lens cap for semiconductor laser or the like where a lens is formed at a window at a top part of a cap member. SOLUTION: The lens cap 9 is constituted by forming a lens 8 over the inside and the outside of its top part while holding a circumferential part of an opening therebetween or over the opening 5 and the inside of its circumferential part 7 in a cap member where the opening having a diameter set according to a pupil diameter is formed at its top part 4 and bringing a circumference of its inside part (a) into contact with a side part inner wall (b) and a top part inner wall (c) of the cap member.
