PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump gate enabling the use of water stream discharged from a pump as a power for opening and closing gates without obstructing landscape and sunlight and the passing of ships and having high reliability of stopping water. SOLUTION: This pump gate has one or more gates 11 one ends of which are supported on a vertically disposed rotating shaft 12 and opened and closed by horizontally rotating around the rotating shaft 12. The pump 4 for discharging the water on the upstream side to the downstream side with a water channel 10 closed by the gates 11 is installed in each of the gates of a gate facility for opening and closing the water channel 10 by opening and closing each of the gates 11.
