PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a first index for recognizing the insertion length of an insertion flexible tube to the perpendicular direction to the axial direction of the insertion flexible tube and a second index different from the first index. SOLUTION: This endoscope 1 is formed with respective index lines 8a for recognizing the insertion length of the insertion flexible tube 2 and a name (a logo type) 8b of a manufacturer in the radial direction on the outer circumference of the flexible tube 22 in the flexible tube 22 of the insertion flexible tube 2.
