PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a germanium-containing grain whose physiological activational effect is not reduced more easily than before. SOLUTION: A coating film is formed and solidified on the surface of a base body by a waterproof resin in which germanium is dispersed. The germanium dispersed in the coating film of the waterproof resin is not easily eluted in hot water or the like. Then, when the plurality of germanium-containing grains are put in a net and immersed in a bathtub, a bather becomes warmer than when taking a normal bath (at the same temperature).
