A device for sensing cutoff of a belt of a dryer is provided to prevent fire and to reduce power consumption by stopping a motor and a heater right after the belt is cut off. A device for sensing cutoff of a belt of a dryer comprises a belt, sensing units(371,373), a heat releasing unit. The belt is wound at a drying drum and a rotary shaft of a motor. The sensing unit senses the cutoff of a belt. The heat releasing unit is installed at an upper surface of a base with predetermined depth. The motor is mounted on the base. The motor is rotated by a rotational moment when the belt is cut off and pressurizing the sensing unit. |
