An indoor unit for an air conditioner is provided to install rotating elements at an upper part and a lower part of a front door to rotate the front door right and left. A main body forms an outward appearance while forming an inner space. A front door(120) shields a front of the main body selectively. A rotating element rotates the front door. The main body includes a front frame(200) formed at a rear of an upper half part of the front door for forming a front side of the upper half part, a rear frame installed to mount a plurality of parts inside while forming an outward appearance of a lower half part, and a lower frame supporting a lower end while forming an outward appearance of a lower side. The rotating element includes an upper rotating element(520) mounted at a top side of the front door and a top side of the front frame, and a lower rotating element mounted at a lower side of the front door and a top side of the lower frame. |
