MEDICAL IMAGE INTERPRETATION SYSTEM

An interpretation image is selectable from medical images to prevent unnecessary image interpretation. A medical image interpretation system (100) stores image data on a medical image captured by a modality (30) in a PACS (40). An examination doctor terminal (50) is used by an examination doctor examining a patient to select an interpretation image from medical images stored in a PACS (40) and transmit interpretation order information on the selected interpretation image to an interpretation doctor terminal (60). The interpretation doctor terminal (60) is used by an interpretation doctor to interpret the interpretation image which the examination doctor requests to interpret. The interpretation doctor terminal (60) reads the interpretation image from the PACS (40) according to the interpretation order information transmitted from the examination doctor terminal (50) and transmits interpretation report information on the read interpretation image to the examination doctor terminal (50).
