A planetary gear reducer including a motor and a pinion is provided to engage the pinion to a shaft of the motor by applying an adhesive to contact portions of the shaft and pinions and then forcibly engaging them. A shaft hole(41) of a pinion(23) serving as a first sun gear has a diameter of 3.157mm. One end of a rotary shaft(22) of a motor inserted in the shaft hole of the pinion has a diameter slightly smaller than that of the shaft hole, and the other end of the rotary shaft has a diameter slightly larger than that of the shaft hole. An adhesive applied onto an outer surface of the rotary shaft and an inner surface of the shaft hole of the pinion before they are engaged.
