A hue change cable insulator composition and a cable structure using the same are provided to suppress a power loss by previously recognizing a fire hazard or a spark hazard by grasping a hue change cable changed in temperature changes with the naked eye. A hue change cable insulator composition contains poly vinyl chloride of 50 to 55 wt%, diisononyl phthalate of 30 wt%, calcium carbonate of 10 to 15 wt%, any one stabilizer of 1 to 5 wt% selected from KN-900 TLS, KN-900, DBL, KN-900 Ba-St, and KN-900 DD-St, stearic acid of 0.1 to 0.5 wt%, and luminous pigment(thermochromic pigment) of 0.5 to 1 wt%. A hue change cable is composed of a copper wire and a hue change cable insulator(1). A surface temperature of the cable insulator reaches 60 to 62 degrees centigrade when a temperature of the copper wire reaches 67 to 70 degrees centigrade. The hue of the insulator is changed to identify the hue change with the naked eye.
