A device is provided to prevent an oil level gage from escaping from a tube by the outworn of a tightening rubber or vibration generated during travel, and easily remove or fit the oil level gage from or into the tube by using coil springs. A device for preventing separation of an oil level gage for a vehicle, includes an oil level gage(1), a cylindrical tightening rubber(4), a pressure guide(7), a knob wire(2), and a knob(3). The tightening rubber is connected to the oil level gage, and has a rear end with a cap(4a). The pressure guide is an elastic cylinder fitted into the tightening rubber, and has an inner surface with a tapered diameter toward the center. The pressure guide has a hole(7a) formed at the center thereof. The knob wire penetrates the pressure guide, and has an outer surface with a ball(2a) mounted in the hole of the pressure guide. The knob is connected to an end of the knob wire. The ball of the knob wire has both sides equipped with coil springs(5,6) which supports opposed inner walls of the tightening rubber.
