<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix and position a treatment instrument received within a groove of a treatment instrument standing table, such as a guidewire or the like, at an appropriate position within the groove. <P>SOLUTION: An endoscope 1 comprises an insertion section 10 inserted into the body cavity and having a distal part 15 on its distal end, a treatment instrument insertion channel 26 arranged within the insertion section 10 and communicates with the distal part 15, and the treatment instrument standing table 23 arranged on a distal hard part 24 of the distal part 15 which makes the treatment instrument, such as a guidewire 33, inserted into the treatment instrument insertion channel 26 to stand up in response to an operation of the standing operation knob 16. The endoscope further has an engaging groove 23b formed on the treatment instrument standing table 23 for receiving the guidewire 33 inside and an abutting section 34 formed on the distal hard part 24. When the treatment instrument standing table 23 stands up, a projected part 34a of the abutting section 34 fits the engaging groove 23b and abuts the groove 23b or the guidewire 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
