PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitting/receiving device that performs transmission/switching diversity without affecting a reception signal in a state of performing reception synthesis diversity, and a transmitting/receiving method. SOLUTION: The device is constituted so that a conventionally-used bandpass filter 9 for reception diversity is changed to a duplexer 10, and a wireless signal amplified by a transmission-signal amplifying part 5 is inputted to either of two duplexers 4, 10 by an SPDT switch 11. By this, it is possible to change only a transmission signal path without changing a reception signal path.
