PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield electric wire which can be manufactured at an inexpensive cost, and has a superior flexibility. SOLUTION: The shield electric wire 1A is constituted having a piece of covered wire 6, a metal foil shield 4A wound around the outer periphery of the covered wire 6, and a sheath 5 covering the outer periphery of the metal foil shield 4A. The metal foil shield 4A is installed with a plurality of notches 41 formed in a straight line state along the longitudinal direction N of the core wire 2, and the notches 41 are arranged with a spacing next to each other in the direction K crossing at right angles the longitudinal direction N mutually shifted along the longitudinal direction N in a zigzag state.
