PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk loading device in which a recording and reproducing part is supported in a floated condition with respect to a frame, the disk loading device being able to be made compact as the whole device. SOLUTION: The disk loading device is provided with: the frame 10 having such a size that a disk 3 is almost inscribed in the frame and having a side face 10a into/from which the disk 3 is loaded and unloaded; the recording and reproducing part 14 arranged in a floated condition inside the frame 10; and a lock piece 42 locking the recording and reproducing part 14 with respect to the frame 10, wherein in the frame 10, a recessed part 15 hollowing inward is formed at the one side face 10a, and a lock groove 16 engaging with the lock piece 42 is formed at this recessed part 15.
