PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant polyamide fiber hardly causing reduction of physical characteristics, having excellent bleeding-out resistance and high effects of flame retardancy and drip prevention by imparting a specific silicone-based compound to the polyamide fiber. SOLUTION: The flame-retardant polyamide fiber includes the silicone-based compound having at least a structural unit represented by RSiO<SB>1.5</SB>and≥1,000 and <10,000 weight average molecular weight.
