摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for operating a blast furnace in which the coke is charged based on a method for accurately evaluating the hot behavior of coke in the blast furnace. SOLUTION: The coke with grain size adjusted to 20±1 mm is charged by 200g into a reaction vessel and the inner part of the reaction vessel is heated at 5-15°C/min temperature-up speed in the temperature range of 800-1,300°C and also, in this temperature range of 800-1,300°C, reaction gas containing 100-0 vol% CO<SB>2</SB>and 0-100 vol% CO, is caused to flow at 20 l/min in the reaction vessel, and while giving 2,000-4,000 (J/kg) of impact energy to the reaction vessel, the coke and the reaction gas are reacted and then, the coke wherein residual powder ratioα(%) after hot-reaction impact obtained by the following formula <1> from the coke B (g) remaining after reaction is≤10%, is charged in the peripheral part from the center part in the blast furnace. The residual powder ratioα(%) after hot-reaction impact=(B/200)×100 <1> (wherein, B is the weight (g) of powdery coke of <6 mm powdery diameter, remaining after reaction).
