<p>A pressure relief valve (10) includes a hollow adjustment screw (20) and a valve stem (48) that cooperates with a recess (66) in the hollow adjustment screw (20) to render the valve (10) substantially tamperproof. Rotation of the hollow adjustment screw (20) is inhibited, except when the recess (66) and the valve stem (48) are engaged by a custom tool (12) having an internal geometry sized and dimensioned to mate with the recess (66) and the valve stem (48).
