An apparatus and a method for supplying fresh drinking water to domestic animals is provided to improve the quality of the drinking water by sterilization and increasing an amount of dissolved oxygen in the water. An apparatus(100) for supplying fresh drinking water to domestic animals includes: a drinking water reservoir(12), a stable(20) having a trough(18), and a water supply pipe(16)/water recovery pipe(24) installed between the reservoir and the stable. The water supply pipe has a pressure pump(14) and the water recovery pipe has a recovery pump(22) to circulate drinking water(10) for domestic animals. The reservoir receives water through a ground water inflow pipe(32) as well as anions and ozone provided from an anion and ozone generator(26) via an anion and ozone supply pipe(28). The pressure pump, the recovery pump, and the anion and ozone generator are controlled by a controller(40) having an input/output unit(42). |
