POLYMORPHIC MINISATELLITE OF MUC2 GENE AND DNA TYPING KITS AND DIAGNOSIS KITS FOR DETECTING GASTRIC CANCER USING THE SAME

An MUC2-MS6(MUC2-minisatellite6) transmitted through meiosis in accordance with Mendelian genetics is provided to be effectively used for confirmation of one real child of an individual, identification of blood relation or medicolegal judgement by DNA typing it and be used for diagnosing gastric cancer. A polymorphic minisatellite of MUC2-MS6 for predicting and diagnosing gastric cancer is described as a sequence from 17,495th to 18,977th of an MUC2(GenBank No. NC_000011) gene. A primer set for detecting the polymorphic minisatellite MUC2-MS6 is described as sequences of SEQ ID : NOs. 11 and 12. A DNA typing kit for detecting the polymorphic minisatellite MUC2-MS6 comprises the primer set. A kit for diagnosing gastric cancer comprises the primer set, a DNA polymerase and dNTPs(dGTP, dCTP, dATP and dTTP).
