<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress charge of static electricity in a silencer for a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The silencer 10 for the fuel cell is equipped with a silencing chamber 5 filled with a silencing material 3; and exhaust gas flowing piping 7 passing through the silencing chamber 5 and having two or more hole parts 8 in the peripheral wall, and through which exhaust gas from the fuel cell flows. A conductive material 4 is added to the silencing material 3. Preferably, the conductive material 4 is added to at least the silencing material 3 in the periphery of the exhaust gas flowing piping 7. The conductive material 4 is carbon fibers for example. The silencer 10 for the fuel cell is used for a fuel cell generating electric power by electrochemical reaction of hydrogen gas with oxidation gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
