IMAGE DATA TRANSFER METHOD, IMAGE PROCESSOR, AND IMAGING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve data transfer efficiency of image data between an apparatus for performing image processing and a memory or the like for storing image data.

SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an image data transfer method, and includes: steps of: (a) packing data of pixels of a two-dimensional image stored in a first image storage unit and including a plurality of pixels of which positions are represented with coordinates in first and second directions for each of data of pixels of a predetermined number adjacent in the first direction, and scanning and reading an obtained data transfer unit in the second direction; (b) performing burst write of the data transfer unit read in the step (a) in regions where first addresses are continued and second addresses are fixed, in a temporary data storage unit for storing data at a position designated by a combination of first and second addresses; and (c) performing burst read of the data transfer unit written in the temporary data storage unit from regions where the first addresses are continued and the second addresses are fixed, and writing the read data transfer unit in a second image storage unit.
