PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of performing processing and reducing the cost of a programmable device even by a small-scaled programmable DSP or the like by performing an enormous amount of processing by dividing it into smaller pieces. SOLUTION: The image processor is provided with an image data input means, an image data output means, a programmable data processing means, a work memory means, and a control means for controlling data processing. The image processor divides a processing program into several programs and executes them in a predetermined order while the processor inputs image data or outputs processed image data according to the divided processing program.
