PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move data by logical units in the configuration change in a computer system to which a storage virtualization technology is applied, while suppressing the performance deterioration of the storage system. SOLUTION: A destination storage 130a creates an extended device 206c for virtualizing a source logical unit 201a. A host computer 100 accesses an external volume 301 through the access path via a destination logical unit 201b, a destination storage 103b, a source storage 130a, and when all dirty data stored in the disk cache of the source storage 130a are de-staged to the external volume 301, the host computer 100 maps the extended device 206c for virtualizing the external volume 301 as the destination logical unit 201b.
