PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sense the difference between wells due to feed delay and feed skip, and to surely prevent a wrong analysis of a specimen. SOLUTION: An analyzer includes a micro plate 10, having a plurality of the wells W for receiving the specimen S and disposed at a predetermined interval in parallel; an imaging section 30 for imaging an object within the field of view V; and a feeding section 20 for feeding and moving the micro plate 10, in accordance with a given feeding command, sequentially sets and images a plurality of the well W within the field of view V of the imaging section 30, by alternately repeating feeding operation of the feeding section 20 and an imaging operation of the imaging section 30, and analyzes the specimen S within the wells W using captured image information. The analyzer also includes a determining section 44 for comparing information on the specimen, obtained from the image information captured by the imaging section 30, before and after the feeding operation of the feeding section 20, and determining that the feeding operation of the feeding section 20 is wrong, when the information on the specimen matches.
