PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rigid electric train wire capable of measuring wear amount of a trolley wire. SOLUTION: The rigid electric train wire has a support frame body 2, where a support frame K for holding a copper-made trolley wire 1 at the tip end is made of an aluminum and has an approximate T shaped cross section, and a copper-made trolley wire receiving member 4 firmly fixed to the tip end part 5 of the support frame body 2. The rigid electric train wire is equipped with a copper-made ear 3 for grasping the trolley wire 1 in cooperation with the trolley wire receiving member 4. A metallic thin film 40 forming a low reflecting surface having lower reflectance than the trolley wire 1 is coated on the tip end surface of the trolley wire receiving member 4 and the tip end surface of the ear 3.
