Organosilicon compound (I) containing maleate group (II), where (I) exhibits a viscosity of 50-106> mm2>/s, is new. Organosilicon compound (I) containing maleate group (II) of formula (-R2>-X-C(O)-CR3>=CR3>-C(O)-X-R2>dR5>1-d), where (I) exhibits a viscosity of 50-106> mm2>/s, is new. R2>bivalent hydrocarbon (optionally substituted); d : 0 or 1; X : O or NR4>; and R3>, R4>H or hydrocarbon (optionally substituted). Provided that the two of R2> and two of X in (II) can be same or different, and when d is 0, R3> is in (Z)-configuration. Independent claims are included for: (1) the preparation of (I); (2) cross-linkable mass containing (I); and (3) molded article prepared by the cross-linking of the mass.
