An anti-friction bearing ring (AFBR) (2) consists of a material composite (MC) (10). A first MC (11) forms a bearing race (13) and consists of a refractory metal or a sintered material, of which the caloric conductibility and high-temperature strength are higher than the caloric conductibility and high- temperature strength of a second MC component (12) that forms the basic body (15) of the AFBR.
