An apparatus for learning mental arithmetic is provided to enable a user to learn mental arithmetic easily, by generating sound or displaying sound and digit numbers at the same time in order to master abacus calculation and/or mental arithmetic. An apparatus for learning mental arithmetic comprises a key pad part, a memory, an external input part(22) and an MCU and adaptive differential pulse code modulation part. The key pad part comprises a reset switch(162), a mode selection switch(164) and an up/down button switch(174). The memory stores mental arithmetic questions with different degree of difficulty according to the mode selection per unit. The external input part accommodates external input. The MCU and adaptive differential pulse code modulation part outputs display data/or sound data inputted through the memory or the external input part. |
