<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve the problem of noise increase due to the fixed frequency of a superimposed high frequency signal, when the high frequency to a drive signal for suppressing the noise of the semiconductor laser is superimposed, and the temperature of the semiconductor laser is changed. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor laser drive device comprises the semiconductor laser 1, a direct current supplier 4 for supplying a direct current to the semiconductor laser 1, a high-frequency oscillator 3 for supplying a prescribed frequency current to superimpose the direct current, and a high-frequency superimposing controller 6 for variably controlling frequency of the prescribed frequency current to superimpose to the direct current. The high-frequency superimposing controller 6 has a variable resistor 8 and a thermistor 9 which changes its electrical resistance, depending on temperature change. The noise is improved by making the resistance of the thermistor 9 changed, depending on the temperature change of the semiconductor laser 1 to change the frequency of the high frequency superimposed by the high-frequency oscillator 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
