METHOD FOR TESTING MUTUAL AUTHENTICATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for testing a mutual authentication device in which operations of a pair of transmittable and receivable devices can be tested without binding the devices to each other in advance.

SOLUTION: A first device 1 transmits its unique ID1to a second device 10, which receives the unique ID1of the first device. The second device 10 transmits its unique ID2to the first device 1 and also sends a signal indicating whether or not the unique ID1of the first device 1 can be received to a decision means 20 for test. When receiving the unique ID2of the second device 10, the first device sends a signal indicating whether to receive the unique ID2of the second device 10 to the decision means 20 for test. The decision means 20 for test decides whether to perform mutual authentication from the signals from the devices which indicate whether to permit reception. Thus, operations of both the devices 1 and 10 can be tested without binding both the devices to each other.
