<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make not to execute firmware update with inadequate combination and inadequate performing order by facilitating specification of firmware that is an object of firmware update at an update method of firmware at a system having a plurality of firmware. <P>SOLUTION: When firmware update mode is set (S1), firmware that can be updated is displayed together with version information based on version information supplied from an external storage medium, and when all of displayed firmware are specified, existing firmware is displayed along with version information of new firmware (S4); and when the firmware which is going to update is specified from the displayed list (S5), the specified firmware is chosen (S7), firmware for which related update is necessary is chosen (S15), priority order is decided, and update is executed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
