摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new robot arm having a joint part different in constitution from a conventional joint part and a robot. SOLUTION: This robot arm is constituted by connecting a pair of a first link member 10 and a second link member 9 to each other and is furnished with a ball screw 2 consisting of a ball screw shaft 2a and a nut 2b and provided on the first link member 10, a compression coil spring 3 one end of which is connected to the first link member 10, the other end of which is connected to the nut 2b and to make force work in the axial direction of the ball screw 2 and a third link member 5 to revolve the second link member 9 against the first link member 10 in accordance with movement of the nut 2b in the axial direction of the ball screw 2a by rotating the ball screw shaft 2a.
