PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding tool for grinding a workpiece while confirming a grinding state of a working surface of the workpiece in grinding work. SOLUTION: The grinding tool 10 is constituted of a disc type base metal 12. A plate part 14 is provided on a peripheral edge part, and a fixed part 20 is provided on a central part of the base metal 12. A grinding region 16 on which abrasive grains of diamond, CBN, etc. are continuously fixed with a resin bond is provided on a bottom surface of the plate part 14. A shaft hole 22 to fix the grinding tool 10 on a motive power shaft of a grinding machinery is provided on the fixed part 20. A plurality of through holes 18 communicated through the grinding region 16 from an upper surface of the plate part 14 are drilled on the grinding tool 10.
