Device for producing hardened joints comprises a first induction heating unit (102), a second induction heating unit (104) and an advancing unit for conveying components through the active region of the two heating units. The first induction heating unit is formed as a through-heating unit and the second induction heating unit is formed as an inner zone heating unit for annealing an inner-lying zone. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing hardened joints using the above device.
