DIGITAL BROADCASTING SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF

A digital broadcasting system and a method thereof are provided to solve a problem that a broadcasting service provider unilaterally broadcasts advertisement data. A broadcasting station(100) transmits digital broadcasting data including advertisement data through a digital broadcasting network. A digital broadcasting receiver(300) receives the digital broadcasting data in a digital broadcasting reception mode, and transmits broadcasting access information according to the reception of the digital broadcasting. An advertisement server(200) analyzes the broadcasting access information, searches for advertisement data corresponding to the analysis result, and then transmits the searched advertisement data to the broadcasting station(100) if the broadcasting access information is received.
