<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a multi-phase rotating electric machine for coping with appropriately depending on faults of an inverter with respect to the controller of the multi-phase rotating electric machine which controls an output of the multi-phase rotating electric machine by operating the switching element of the inverter. <P>SOLUTION: An output shaft of an internal combustion engine 1, a rotation shaft of a dynamoelectric machine 4, and a rotation shaft of an electromotor 5 are jointed with a power partitioning mechanism 3. At the time of a fault of short circuit of the switching element of the inverter for controlling load torque of the dynamoelectric machine 4, fail safe treatment for controlling load torque of dynamoelectric machine 4 is performed to prevent the internal combustion engine 1 from rotating by power of the electromotor 5, though the internal combustion engine 1 is not driven. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
