<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for separating foreign matter from raw laver wherein mixture liquid of raw laver (laver raw algae) with seawater is forcedly sucked through a narrow clearance while rotating the mixture liquid to separate foreign matter which cannot pass through the clearance, enabling efficient separation of a large amount of foreign matter while also eliminating more minute foreign matter. <P>SOLUTION: The device for separating foreign matter from raw laver has the following structure: the clearance has a depth corresponding to an interval where the inner peripheral wall of a circular hole and the outer peripheral wall of a rotary circular plate loosely fitted in the circular hole so as to be rotatable are faced each other, between the input port side and the output port side each of the clearance; the inner peripheral wall of the circular hole is provided with a tapered face slanted toward the lower end peripheral edge having a small diameter from the upper end peripheral edge having a large diameter; and the outer peripheral wall of the rotary circular plate has a tapered face slanted toward the lower end peripheral edge having a small diameter from the upper end peripheral edge having a large diameter at a slanting angle corresponding to the tapered face of the inner peripheral wall of the circular hole; and the upper end peripheral edge of the tapered face provided at the outer peripheral wall of the rotary circular plate positions at upper side than the upper end peripheral edge of the tapered face of the inner peripheral wall of the circular hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
