PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image management system presenting an efficient image order environment in accordance with order history of a user.

SOLUTION: The image management system has: a medium ID for identifying a recording medium; and an order history storage part for storing the order history of the image to be identified by the medium ID and image ID in association with a medium ID for identifying a recording medium and an image recorded in a recording medium to be identified with the media ID. An image display device has: an image acquisition part for acquiring images recorded in the recording medium; an ID acquisition part for acquiring the medium ID and image ID for identifying the acquired images; an order history acquisition part for acquiring order history stored by the order history storage part in association with the acquired medium ID and image ID; a display mode determination part for determining a display mode of the acquired images in accordance with acquired order history; and an image display part for displaying images in the determined display mode.
