<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a secondary disaster for a worker etc. from occurring due to a runaway vehicle entering a job site and enable the worker etc. to safely and rapidly perform work, by providing an alarm for a road, which performs detection by the tire tread pressure of the vehicle trying to travel in the vicinity of a disaster site, which can emit an audible signal easily audible to vehicle driver's ears, the worker's ears, etc. and/or a visible signal visible to their eyes, and which is excellent in workability by virtue of the easiness of installation and removal, inexpensive and constitutionally simple. <P>SOLUTION: This alarm for the road installed on the road comprises: a tread pressure part 6 which generates air pressure by applying tread pressure; an air pressure transmission part 7 which transmits air pressure to a warning sound generating means 4; and the warning sound generating means 4 for generating a warning sound by having the air pressure transmitted as a cue.
